I've had my 08 Limited AWD for about 2 months now, and I seem to get a pretty consistent 16. Best I've had was a tank that was almost all highway, and that was 18.2. Worst was all city stop-and-go and that was 15. So, it doesn't vary much.

I think it's really important to note if you have AWD or not. Cuz, with AWD, you can't top about 18 or so.

What's the best folks are getting for an '04-'06 AWD? I'm averaging around 18 MPG cruising at 70 on the highway and wondering if there's anything I can do to improve efficiency.

I'm a couple years after.... an 08 AWD, and I get around that on the highway. More like 14-15 in city driving.

So, I think you're within standard range.

@straycatstrat The issue with Fuelly (which I also use on all my vehicles, and I think is awesome!) is that most users just pick whatever the default is for their year and vehicle. So it's totally inaccurate if you have AWD.

@andreas970 You're not wrong, but I was just replying to the thread in general, giving my 2 cents. I don't have the AWD variant, and I'm not familiar enough with Sienna's to give any input on these type of things.

Oh, for sure! I didn't mean to imply you were in any way being nefarious. Fuelly stats just tend to rile me up for the reasons I mentioned. I can't speak for everyone, but I definitely appreciate your input!

You also didn't mention if you're AWD or FWD.... which makes a huge difference in MPG.....
