Oh, for sure! I didn't mean to imply you were in any way being nefarious. Fuelly stats just tend to rile me up for the reasons I mentioned. I can't speak for everyone, but I definitely appreciate your input!@andreas970 You're not wrong, but I was just replying to the thread in general, giving my 2 cents. I don't have the AWD variant, and I'm not familiar enough with Sienna's to give any input on these type of things.
you must all be driving like old grandmas, I get around 16 combined from computerI wanted to start a gas mileage thread like the siennaclub had.
State your engine, Fwd or Awd , City/Highway/Combined mileage and your range on a tank.
Just curious what you other Sienna owners are getting
18 mpg all city driving
27 mpg all highway
21 mpg combined ( 60% city 40 % highway)
We get about 350 miles to a tank usually but got as much as 450 miles on a recent trip. We were using the A/C on the trip most of the time with cruise set at 70 mph.
Your $80 figure made me do a double take. I ran some numbers assuming $3.50/gal, and $80 would be 22mpg instead of 27.5mpg. I usually go 70-75mph on trips, and I'm seeing 24-25mpg on most of my gas logs. I have higher entries such as 27-28 when I went slower like you mentioned. So at $3.50/gal for me I would see around $15 difference per 1000mi travelled. So $45 over a 3000mi trip. It's nice to have numbers in mind for balancing priorities. At $2.50/gal, it would be $11 per 1000mi.Got done with a 2600 mile road trip. I really took it easy this time , seldom going over 70mph. In fact most times on the highways I'm doing 63mph resulting in a 27-28mpg. I estimated a fuel savings of about 80 bucks or so compared to driving at 70 mph and higher.
With 246K miles on an '07 FWD Limited, I averaged 18mpg combined city/hwy. I have averaged worse during times when I had a bad alternator, bad COP coil, and a stuck caliper (about 2-3mpg less.)So I have 136000 miles on my 2008 and I get a dismal 12.6 mpg combined city /highway. have not had it a month yet, nor have I taken it out for a long highway cruise. Just wondering if I need to change the O2 sensors to improve mileage? My 98 suzuki sidekick sport has a paltry 280000 miles on it and gets 30 around town and driving the Sienna sure makes a difference to the wallet with gas averaging 9.20 per imperial gallon . I drive at 55-60 mph on the highway . Yup just cleaned the air sensor as well, so I am looking for any other reason I am getting this low gas mileage? Hmmmn have to figure out how to get my profile up there as well.
