Spotted these the last time I was picking up oil and was kinda curious if anyone here has confirmed that they're legit genuine Toyota or cheap knock-offs that have been floating around online?

But are they real?Walmart in my area been selling thses for a while.
Reason I ask is because I get my oil there.Doesn't matter, the Sienna filter is cheap, and with online discounts, getting it from the dealer is a nobrainer.
Don't have a dealer close by, get it shipped free, min $75
WM has been caught selling counterfeit items, even in-store. It's a hazard of a mega big-box store that orders 95% of their merchandise from China.WM is not going to risk litigation
the filters from WM are all "real"
where you need to be careful is ebay or amazon. THOSE parts may be fake, therefore it is best to order from a "dealer" listing on ebay
Wiper blade replacement??I go to Maplewood Toyota here in the Twin Cities for oem parts. Buy four filters get one free has been going on for the last 17 years. Once in a blue moon they have the Sightline wiper blades half off so I stock up when that is going on. Fantastic wiper blades , but Expensive at full price. Peace. D
Well like most auto parts- there’s really only 2-3 manufacturers of oil filters and they just change labels and specs s little bit and Cha Ching the dealer can charge you double if not triple of what Walmart sells them for. So now the dealers have to be more realistic in their prices.Walmart in my area been selling thses for a while.
Very good video! Since 39k when I bought it, my now 154k engine has always 'ticked' when cold then goes away once warmed. Always used Purolator filters when buying a packaged oil deal from Pep Boys. Am using Costco 5/30w synthetic, as they are both a price leader in synthetic and conventional oil. Good stuff, is rated for turbos. Have seen Toyota filters on ebay from different sources. Maybe in 2019 when this video was made, only dealerships had the market, but they are either selling on ebay or are fromsome other sources. Hopefully they are not counterfeit since they are shown in Toy packaging. But are they real?
My local dealer sells online with competitive prices, but has local pickup option to avoid minimums and shipping. I use this to purchase small items like AC o-rings, nuts/bolts, and trim fasteners that are low cost items and have toyota part numbers to match orginal. I recently bought a canister oil filter cheaper than purolator at big box.$4 a filter online from a toyota dealer with free shipping over $75... no brainer. Just bought 8 oil filters, air and cabin filters for just over the free shipping minimum.
