The 4,000 mile trip just began.
With 2006 Sienna FW Limited.
The first camping site is the Pine Ridge Recreational Area of Mark Twain National Forest. This is very good free camping site. View attachment 44189
Like the way you blacked out your rear window. I was hoping to go NW from Florida in fall but having recently retired I find I still have quite a few loose ends to tie up till I am eventually "free". Mine is an 06 Le as well with 170k miles now. Are your tires larger than stock?

On the way up to the summit of Mt. Evans in Colorado.
The Mt Evans was so tall I got altitude sickness. I felt tired, the motor reaction was slow, and a little bit of headache. We left the summit, and the symptoms was gone when we reached the lower altitude.

Gas station in the middle of Wyoming. Talked to a senior who was eating at the restaurant in the building, this small village was a uranium mining town. Many miners got the pulmonary tumors. People left, and only a small number of the people still live here. It looked like that the Senior enjoyed having someone to talk to.

The tires are BFG KO2 ALL TERRAIN LT235/70R16 mounted on 1996 Lexus LS400 wheels.
I thought those looked like blocky All-Terrain or SUV type tires and the wheels definitely had that Lexus LS400 look to them. Do you do a lot of off-paved-road type driving and do the tires hum or make a lot of noise at speed?

I've used Yokohama Avid Ascend tires at 235/60R17 on standard XLE 17" wheels which give an uprated 103H load rating. With my daughter's power wheelchair (450 pounds with her in it) and completely loaded up for travel, we were pushing the GVWR of the car with regular sized tires. These tires give me a bit more load capacity plus speed rating, are quiet with good wet weather traction.

Stayed at the Colter campground of Grand Teton NP. This is a first-come, first served campground. The mountains seen from the Colter bay. So far, the BFG AT KO2 TIRES are very capable on an FW drive Sienna. They went through all national forest dirt road, unpaved roads without hesitation.
The feature in the Sienna Limited I appreciated most in this long road trip is the dynamic cruise control, it greatly reduced the stress put on the driver on a long, long road trip.
