I have never used this and I’m giving it a try today. Does anyone know what “ignition on” does? I will report back after using it for a day.

I am guessing that this notifies you each time the car is started. I would expect that this is particularly useful if you are using a valet so that you know if the car is being used when you do not expect. Of course, some valets use limited areas where cars get blocked in, so in this case, the car may be moved frequently.
