Has anyone removed rear climate control?

I am trying to remove the rear climate control (XLE) to replace a few dead bulbs. I cannot figure out how this thing comes out! The service manual says to "release four claws" with a screwdriver, but it is unclear as to what needs to be released. The controls are inside a plastic bezel. Does the entire assembly come out, or am I trying to remove the controls from inside the bezel? Nothing seems to be working so far...

No, but the repair manual shows four claws holing it up -- two top, two bottom. Each is about a quarter of the way in from each side. The entire procedure is:

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the No. 2 air conditioning control.
(b) Disconnect the connector.
