Hi Forum,

I will be taking possession of a Sienna XSE AWD shortly with no spare. I want to have a compact spare due to very long drives I take from Florida to New York and would also like one that is closer to the height of the 235/60R18 tires on the van vs the smaller standard compact spare available for the Sienna at T155/70D17. I see that the Highlander compact spare is T165/90D18 and am wondering if the rim of the Highlander will fit the Sienna. The difference in height if my checking is correct is 29.69 inches vs 25.54 inches vs 29.1 inches for the stock tire. Any assistance here would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Mitchell

That is the same spare (165/90/18) as the rav4 prime xse which I have. From what I’ve seen, this will be too big diameter wise to fit in the spare tire conversion, but I believe works/fits. I plan to use this spare as I’ll be putting 235/55/20 (from Lexus rx350) tires on my Sienna that I pick up tomorrow. Just have to figure out how best to store in the back.
