That’s around what I get on the freeway with mixed city driving. Best fuel economy I ever got was just over 41 MPG, IIRC, on a four hour trip that was all highway at 65mph and under.

These are quite spectacular mpg figures. Which app is it?

The Fuelly reports average 32-33 mpg for the Gen 4 Sienna, so the 36.6 mpg is very good. Looks like you are careful driver :)

This is Fuelly. It’s a paid app. Available on iOS, Android, and via the web.

Yep, the colors scheme reminded me of Fuelly, but didn't know it had a mobile app (last time I checked a while ago it didn't). I wonder if you would be intersted in posting your Fuelly link in the signature line, so that the curios ppl. like me can follow your summer mpgs :)

Driving style, extreme temps and extreme speeds are the killer of mpgs in this vehicle. I do not use fuelly, but even if I shave 2% to 3% off my average mpgs by computer I still am easily getting low 40s mpg.

Not surprisingly, speed is a huge consideration. Last summer we took ours to South Dakota where the speed limit is 80. For about 30 miles I had my cruise set to 88 and my mpg was in the mid-low 20s. Decided it wasn't worth it and backed it off to 80 and promptly returned to the low 30s.

I’d be happy to, if you tell me how that’s done!
36.6 is pretty good in my book.

FWIW, based on my unscientific observations, you can may be do another 5 -15% better with its cruise control(DRCC) if you don't use it already. DRCC and LDA (lane departure assist) take a little getting used to. However, once you're familiar, there's not much to it other than better fuel mileage and less stress in driving.

Caveats for these are that don't use them during rain, snow, or construction area etc, and always hold the steering wheel tight. There are no issues per say. It is just that once my car wanted to go straight following the line markings, but my lane was being diverted into next using traffic cones. It almost made me hit traffic cones:eek:.
Just traveled half way across the country. Every tank of gas was 38 + mpg. The latest tank is running at a bit over 42 mpg. The weather was not too hot, so not much air conditioning load.

Was on a 1300mi road trip last month where I got 34.5mpg using radar cruise control at 75mph.

Since returning, seeing 39mpg while being less aggressive with the accelerator pedal.

On the Fuelly page for your vehicle (the one with Basic Stats, Recent Fuel-Up graph, and Log Book), all the way down at the bottom right is a section called 'Share your MPG."

Click on the link for "View all Badges and Stuff you can share..."

Code is listed for large or small forum signatures, copy the desired code from there to here when you edit your signature.

Unfortunately when I try to do that, I get "Your signature may only have 1 external link(s)."

That’s really good mileage! I have a 2015 & the best I can get is a solid 28 on a trip.
What is your tire pressure, I had to go to 42 to get my 28?

Same issue. Can’t post 2clinks.

Yeah man, I’m very pleased with it. It’s hard to imagine a vehicle this big and heavy can pull numbers like that.

I inflate my tires to 36 PSI. When the back is loaded with baggage and gear, I’ll bump the rear tires to 37 PSI. These are all cold numbers. When hot at low altitude, the tires warm up to 38 - or 38 (front) and 39 (rear). I do not let them warm over 39 PSI hot. I still have the stock tires installed. They’re wearing fine and I’m nearing 10k miles.
I've had my XSE 5 days, hope mine is just breaking in. First road run was 182 miles 40 miles of interstate using DRCC and LDA computer shows 30.2, maybe in a month and a half I'll be making 35/36. I'm still happy with 30.2 as my 2014 quest rarely made over 21mpg.

Good point. I think it took a couple tanks for our Sienna to achieve its current fuel efficiency.
