I have just under 160,000km on our van. It is a 2004 xle limited awd. been very reliable so far... Everything works still, the headphones are almost done, the kids aren't that gentle on them!
I'm sure that you are aware that there has been a recall for these struts. I had mine replaced october of 2008. I have the power hatch that has decided to shut a couple times this winter on its' own. I went back to the dealership and they sent it to Toyota for consideration. I imagine that they are a little busy right now with the gas pedal issues and such so I have not heard back whether they will replace (for free) again. :-XHomer said:2009CE , Bought in July 8000 km ( + - 4800 miles )
My only problem, rear hatch struts in cold weather that are unable to push the hatch up , I'll soon change my tuque for a hard hat....
What is so hard to design in those struts ? Even Dodge can make them better![]()
Order a couple of pairs from TRDPARTS4U.COM I replaced mine with these, they are factory but a newer style. They were $30 each and $20 shipping. I live in Canada, the total price with shipping, taxes etc. came to $120. This sounds like a lot but the local dealer wanted $140 + taxes for ONE! They were delivered as promised and are a better design if your originals had the 2 bars across the top as mine did.yuanyelss said:It is a 2004 xle limited awd. been very reliable so far...
