I'm sure it would work but did you note the lift height? Yes, it can get a tire off the ground but would it ever light high enough if you wanted to do more? Or what happens if you get a vehicle in the future that is taller than your van and barely lifts it off the ground?
Each to his own, I just wouldnt want to buy a jack now that maybe doesnt work for me down the road.

I got 2 harbor freight 3 ton jacks. One low profile and the other a regular one. I just stash by the wall in the garage.
