Hi,

I had an off road company install the journey 2” lift for my 2022 and immediately after driving off I started hearing clunking noise from front left driver side. It doesn’t seem to be speed related and not ditch or pot hole related. So it’s kind of random.

I do believe at low speed maybe 15-40 I hear it more often than when going 60+ on freeway. I did a test and I think when I make sudden left right movement I can hear something. So it could be maybe the springs?

i will bring it up to the installer but they have told me they just install the parts and workmanship. Anything part related is not their problem.

I had the same issue with my 3 inch lift that I installed myself. Turns out I had not properly torqued the sway bar link on the passenger side. Lol. Retightened it and no noise ever since

I wish I knew how to instal myself it cost me $750 to install.

As it turns out one of the screws from the spacers was touching something at the top of the car (cowl bar/tray?). The installer shaved it down.

This seems to be a common problem since I know someone had that problem but was a squeaking sound.

So when installing these I suggest al to remind them about the long screws.

Curious to know if the factory sway bar links were reused or if the lift kit included swapping them out? Would you know?

The 3 inch lift includes new sway bar links that are appropriately longer. I believe the brand was moog. They looked and felt similar in quality to the stock ones. The kit also included a brake line bracket relocation as well as shock mount drops for the rear so the stock shocks could be reused. As for the 2 inch lift I can't answer but I would assume that would be included as well.

It came with replacement. From Moog or something. Popular brand it seems. Don’t know the pn that was used tho
