Sitting in my 09 LE side saddle with door open talking to a friend & suddenly hear a loud pop kinda like when a truck kicks up a rock into the windshield. I felt it through the seat. Looked & looked for the culprit with no luck. 1st thought was those dogbones on the sway bar but they are pretty new & still intact. Now when going over bumps there is a clattering clanking noise. Prob going to have to get it up on a hoist.

Thought of that but seems to ride & drive ok. Did hit something so hard blew a seal out of the right strut the other day. 240,000 miles was prob due for struts anyway.

Like paul r said have a look at the springs. They do break over time and if you just hit something hard the other day... It is a very good guess

Have heard bad things about aftermarket so decided to go oem used, complete assembly. $60 a piece from salvage yard. Have a few more miles on them then I would like 130,000 but thats 110,000 less than the ones I have. Boots are shredded but looks like that happens pretty early in their life, not much left.
