Equally, it might work the other way around. Your van may be sitting on the lot, but doesn't show in the inventory. This happens because sometimes people fail to raise the money they need, or change their mind, or order in more than one places and pick whichever comes first. Makes car buying like a game of treasure hunt.
Customer is no longer a king with this situation🤪

I currently own '19 and ordered '22.

With the current crazy prices on used cars, I felt I must get a new one. No brainer to me.

I had to go with the Platinum since I wanted the bird's eye view. The screen resolution was a total disappointment.
The kids are enjoying the ottoman and the entertainment system though.
Yes I do agree with you in term of screen quality while the other brands offer a better one and the car even costs less.

While I would agree that the screen quality could be better (damn, how come cheaper Venza gets better and bigger screen?), but guys - keep in mind: there's a different evaluation of technology.
Hybrid? I think so.
Toyota Sense? For sure.
Quality? You bet.

That's what I call "a proper technology", not the screen size. Just my 2c.

yes you did get a point here. Btw how was the backup camera quality at night? With my 2019, I had to replace the reverse light bulb with the brighter LED otherwise I barely saw anything while looking at the screen. Kind of not an ideal situation without upgrading the light bulb in term of safety purpose.

No problem whatsoever. As bright as I would want it to be. No real need for LED, aside from estertics.

I also have a full size OEM wheel for a spare, and I have it rotated along with the rest of the wheels. I found that the "official" donut wasn't exactly cheap, and it has a visibly smaller diameter than the regular wheel. This means it's very likely to drive the traction control system crazy, and you can't use it for more than X miles and above Y mph.
The OP is looking for an AWD. Are they offering spare tires now with the AWD? they were not for my 2004 and 2011 AWD Siennas because there is no place to store them. Those came with 4 run-flat tires instead of a spare. I HATE the run-flat tires: expensive and don't last. When the first set wore out on each van, I replaced them with regular tires. I keep a full-sized spare in our garage (which gets packed along for longer trips).

Yes they do offer Spare tire with AWD now. But like everyone warned me early that dealer’s lot were almost empty. I stopped by 2 dealers, I could feel that the same persons got nothing to do since they had no car to accommodate customer’s request. One dealer told me, it will take 2-3 months to order while the other told me it would take 6 months. I am still not sure if I would place an order for platinum trim yet since my 2019 trade in value might drop at that time and I would end up pay more for the difference. Still thinking about it 😅😅

I believe you can get a 2021+ Sienna with AWD and the spare wheel. It is stored in a special compartment that is kind of molded into the side wall on the left behind the 3rd row. Someone on this forum either upgraded their 2021 to have this spare wheel, or just got the prices for the parts, necessary for it.

Hi. I don’t want to bring back the old thread, but just wanted to share with our members that gave me a great input previously. Finally we were able to the AWD Platinum after 1 year on the waiting list. The previous buyer finance did not go through, so our sale agent reached out to the Manager to have the deal back to us. We were a bit lucky since we had a good relationship with agent for many years already with our previous transaction. We got it MSRP with ~$2800 add on from Factory, but no add on by Dealer. Dealer also gave us ~$4000 over online dealer for trade-in. So it was a win for everyone since the used car market is less hot than 1-2year ago. I didn’t not have chance to go through the car yet since the temperature is within frigid cold right now in the Mid west. One thing I noticed for the difference between Sienna and our Lexus 450HL, poor quality and cramped image of 360 camera due to smaller screen vs 12in in Lexus. The other thing is that the brake is in completely territory. I feel that I had to put more pressure. Although our Lexus is a hybrid car as well, I felt that the brake is in the same manner as our 3rd Gen Sienna. Anyway, that is all I have for now 😀

Is it angle of pic or are those door moldings?
