We got the New Sienna 2023 15 days back - now the odometer is 350 miles but still i see the fuel economy of 28.7mpg what is the issue ?
If you clocked 350 miles in 15 days, it suggests you may have made a lot of short trips (as a comparison, in 15 days I do 1,600 miles). In the first few minutes of every trip the fuel economy is very low as the engine hasn't reached its optimal temperature.

When you first start driving, the engine is almost never off because it must warm up. Forward motion with the engine off is what must be achieved to maximize MPG. This will not happen 2 minutes after leaving your house.

Your profile says you live in Michigan. That's a problem on two fronts: The hybrid battery works much less efficiently in cold weather, and the heat works the same way in this car as it does with any other - the heater core draws heat from the engine coolant. If you set the temperature really high, you need more heat in the coolant to pump into the cabin. Which means that at a red light, the engine might turn on solely to build up coolant temp so you'll be warm. Bundle up and set the temp at 68. That will do wonders for your MPG just by itself.

Here are some tips that help me average 44.5 MPG in my 2022 Sienna.
