Hi all!
I'm happy to find this forum. My wife and I have been retired for 7 years and In March we traded our 21 Prius Prime for a used 21 Sienna LE through VROOM in prep for a May trip to Disney World with 5 adults. No regrets, we love the Sienna, and the Disney trip was a great time.
The first week of July I did a quick "camper van" conversion by removing the 2nd and 3rd row seats and building a platform bed with storage below. My wife and I then did a 16-day road trip from Maine to San Francisco and around the Pacific Northwest before returning home. It was a last-minute decision to take the Sienna instead of our motorhome to take advantage of the great gas mileage.
I plan to tweak our "camper" outfit based on lessons learned on our trip and I'm sure this forum will provide a wealth of information.
