Good evening, while replacing my TC fluid i noticed this sweating/leak. Appears to be hopefully coming from the oil line banjo bolt. I know these can be known for timing cover leaks though. Anyone have any experience with either leak want to give their opinion. Im going to start with replacing the bolt and gasket for the banjo and clean it up. I assume that job will be pretty simple. Any input appreciated.

7/8 year old vehicle, that looks like "normal" seepage IMO. I wouldn't touch anything until it started leaving oil on the ground where I park. Then again, I don't fix things until they truly need it.

That is a tough one to swallow. Love his channel. I dont plan on getting into that job. I'll let it go until the leak starts to require adding oil between changes. Im going to get it cleaned up and break the bolt free and retighten. I saw on some lexus forums that would work for that issue. Cannot hurt. Ill report back.

The van has 93k miles and i have $25k invested into it. Including purchase and maintenance. With how expensive newer vehicles are I feel the fix is worth the investment when it gets bad enough. I feel any sienna i get will eventually have the leak so im just going to stick it out. I have always had base model vehicles all my life so this limited is pretty enjoyable vs my L. Please feel free to chime in on your thoughts. Thanks for the input.

On the passenger side. You can see the area if you turn the wheels all the way left and get down low with a flashlight.

all that work to fix that "leak" is laughable... apparently most people (leasees) haven't owned a vehicle long enough to realize that small leaks/etc are normal with age. If you check your fluids regularly and take note if something needs to be topped off, you can motor on for hundreds of thousands of miles at minimal cost.

Now if something is pouring out fluid, then of course it would warrant a repair.
