Is there any way to disable this beep completely? (The painfully annoying beep you get when the power sliding door is open and the vehicle isn't in park.)

I don't want to override the lockout of when you can open the door (park is a good requirement for that), I just want the stupid beeping gone...

Hi & sorry for the belated Welcome!

I'm sure there are a few other members that also share your same point-of-view regarding the warning beeps. Of course, the beeping serves an important safety function.

There is an existing thread regarding the REAR HATCH beeping which you may or may not find helpful for a few ideas and suggestions.

I know this is a very old post. but I am wondering the same thing. Carpool drop off line at school is fast paced and I dont have time to put in park, open door, wait for door to close and then put in drive. Did anyone figure out how?

our 2016 sienna does for sure continue beeping with door open and also now when we drive because if some issue with van door recall. About to loose my mind
