P0012 code

I just got this and no search comes up with anything in the gen 3 group. It did come on after a recent oil change.

1. Should I try another oil change?
2. Anyone have any good write ups on how to replace the oil control valve?
3. Any other ideas?

FWIW, I had this code pop up with an old battery and also once the following summer with a brand new battery. For me, both times were closer to the end of 5k mile oil change interval. Changing oil seemed to be effective for me (I see that's not case for you), but I also filled up with premium gas the next couple of tanks. Likewise...I did the plugs and then it was later that I learned I should have investigated this more and done the back OCV at the same time. Oh and both times I've had this code, it's also been hot weather.
