I bought a quickjack 7000XL last year for my camaro. Today my wife and I used it to rotate her tires. Worked perfect. I used the optional pinch weld blocks to raise the van

Just wanted to share in case someone was on the fence about getting this

Look good, however I can see your foot under the van supported only by your new jack. I would get some stout lumber like 4x4, cut it to size and use it as a backup, incase that jack fails.
Thanks for the observation but the quickjack has a safety arm on each side that are locked in the rails. No need for extra security. This wasn’t the first time using it as I have used it multiple times on my camaro.

Thanks for posting this!!! I've been looking at these for my four vehicles. I determined I wouldn't have room for a 2 or 4 post lift but thought these would be a good compromise.
Glad to see them in use in the real world. Now where's my credit card.....:)

I know this thread is over a year old but can you please tell me if your Quickjack is a SLX or EXT model? TIA.

Just curious, my buddy has a quickjack and we were going to use it on my Sienna but it seems too short to reach the pinch welds (lift points), where did you jack it? However, it fits his 2017 F150, Go figure.

I'm looking to do more work in the next week or two, includes installing brakes, struts, ball joints etc. It would be nice to see the locations where you actually lift. It would be so much easier than manual jack and jack stands.

which model does he have?? There are various lengths available w/ a min and max lifting point spreads as well as curb weight rating.

It may not be the correct one to work.

It may be possible to use them cross-ways instead, with each jack spanning side-to-side rather than front-to-back.

Additionally, they also make extensions for the shorter QJ models to extend their reach for longer wheelbase vehicles.

Yes they have the extensions but he doesn't have it. LOL It fits all his cars SUV and Trucks, just doesn't fit the wheelbase of the van! It's too long.

For reference, the jack points illustrated here but OP didn't use these points.

We can probably do this too but I don't want to mess up the pinch welds or damage the van.
