If you use the extension then you can get really close to the two lifting points. I use QJ pinch weld pads and have the the QJ set to the front lifting points and as for the rear, just as far back as possible w/o crushing the plastic underbody trims. I definitely recommend against using QJ side ways as the weight distribution between the front and rear are too great to risk it.

Jack point distance is 73" from front to back. The extension only goes up to 66". So is still lacking.

Good suggestion but I'll just do the regular jack method. I don't want to damage the van by lifting it at the wrong lift points.

Pinch weld runs along the entire chassis, you will not damage the van unless you place the pad some place you shouldn't. Also, with the van being front heavy, which is why I use the front designated lift points and the rear is where I look for optional lifting points along the weld. With that said, I understand your concern.

On a side note, didn't notice it until now and I think is worth mention even know this is a old thread for safety reason. The OP has the QJ on the wrong sides of the vehicle as per user's manual. The locking safety arms/camlock cams should be on the outside of the vehicle, not on the inside.
