I have a 2009 Sienna and am experiencing the problem described in this old thread. "Manual" Rear Door Doesn't Have Power

My rear door latch stopped working. I first replaced the switch, but that didnt fix the problem. I removed the latch motor and mechanism and discovered it was cracked, so I bought a new one. Throughout the process of replacing the switch and diagnosing the cracked latch, I had consistent power when things were plugged in (pressing switch activated motor, just not sufficiently to open the latch due to the crack). Then all of a sudden, no power whether the new or old motor is plugged in. I am hoping its a fuse issue, but for life of me I can’t figure out which fuse to check based on the description in the above thread or the owners manual. Any help would be appreciated.

Sudden power loss screams a burned out fuse. That post says 5th column (left to right), 2nd row of the engine bay fuse box. Some diagrams I see call that fuse #12 and others (including that post) call it #14. There should be a list of the fuses and what they do in the owners manual. For whatever reason, I can't seem to find an official version anywhere.

Just found this. To me, it looks like it would be fuse #25 for powered rear door. Whereas, #12 controls ECU-B which is for the power sliding doors.

Thanks. That seems to be in something called the fusable link assembly along with a bunch of other fuses and the whole assembly, rather than an individual fuse, would have to be replaced. From a visual standpoint, the fuse doesnt look blown. There are some references in my manual to 10a fuses in the box in the interior of the car also controlling the power back door so I will try those first.

Good news, power is back. I noted in the original post about this problem that the author mentioned locking and unlocking the doors as having possibly reset the circuit, so I tried that. . At first it didnt work, but then I hit the unlock button when the doors were already unlocked and I heard a faint click from the back. I pressed the rear switch and the motor actuated. I have no idea why this worked, and I havent installed the new motor yet so the door stilldoesnt open, but I have power again so things are looking up.
