2006 sienna xle limited awd separate dual climate control for driver, passenger, and rear. On the driver side, there's always a little bit of heat coming out even when AC is on LO. Last year the climate controllers or actuators or blend door were repaired or replaced at the dealer because the original controllers couldn't change the vents and temperature correctly. My question is, what do I need to do to repair or calibrate to make the driver side ventilation stop putting out heat (there's just a little) when ac is on max LO? the dealer is 1000 miles away so reworking by the dealership isn't practical.
I you sure your AC has the right amount of charge? Typically, with a low charge, the passenger side will blow cold but the drivers side side blows warm.
My '06 LE does the same. A/C set on Max and it will blow what feels like slightly warm heat on the drivers side center vent. I assumed refrigerant was low, so I hooked my can with built-in gauge onto the charge port. It showed low, so I added some and it got colder. Trying to take a new baseline reading of what was stable/low before and now it would fluctuate between super low and over-pressured. I'm assuming something mechanical (compressor, clutch, something else?) is broken. It blows consistently cold air when driving at highway speeds, which is a rare situation for me.
