Hi everyone,

our van hit a tree the yesterday, and the right rear corner was damaged, (shown in photos).
I am wondering if I can continue to drive in town for a while, without fixing it?

Thank you in advance.

Slap some tuck tape on the side. It will grab air on the highway and peel back and flip up.

Seen a couple of these. Back up into a snow bank. Both sides pop out. Not good.

Ditto on this.
Duct tape this, remember in this instance, more is better and drive it until you can repair it
if you dont tape this then it will fly off the highway

Agree with both of you, it shouldnt be left hanging in the wind like that, but tape only if it cant be re installed.
Sometimes hits like that pop the bumper out of the retainer but nothing breaks. Pretty sure at least 1 bumper pin is missing which should also be replaced to help keep it secure.
And try to do it in a heated garage if possible. If its not broken now, it could be trying to push it back into the retainer if its super cold.
