Seeking a bug and tree sap remover that actually WORKS to clean such off my Sienna

Greetings,

I'm a new member to the Sienna Chat. I have a 2007 Sienna. Had it for about 7 months now. I call her the Green Mo-Chine II. I used to have a '68 Mustang the same color and same name.

Anyways...

I have tried Turtle Wax and Goo-Gone Bug ant Tar removers to get some dried tree sap off the front fenders, hood and front bumper. I followed the directions, but those products did not work. The sap is still stuck to my vehicle. Does anyone have any affordable recommendations that will actually work? I'm concerned the paint job may get ruined. I'd rather not order a product on-line. In the event I need to return it. I want to get a product locally.

We don't have a garage or carport so, the Sienna has to sit outside and we have lots of tress and, bugs. You may know how that can be.

Thanks for your help.

you could try rubbing alcohol. it is cheaper than other options.

WD40 will do the job.

I've had good results w/ Pine-Sol.
