was just gonna buy the 11 pin to see if it fits my xse.

I would caution you to take the few minutes and remove your door panel and see what wires are populated on the ECU to door connector.
I bought the OEM power folding mirror units based on feedback on here that it would be PnP. It is not. My ECU to door connector only has the 5 pins.
So if you get this option from ali express, you will either need to liven the wires yourself and populate your connector, use the aliexpress harness and power folding button for the aliexpress power folding motor units, or you already have the wires populated (I have a 2021 XSE but maybe the 2024 does) already and it will be PnP.

If able, can you take some photos of the wires present on the side mirror side of the connector and of the door side of the connector and post here? I will do the same soon and we can compare MY21 vs MY24.

Interesting. The specs says for 5 pin. Or am I wrong? Maybe just ask the seller.

I don’t read that as it is for the 5-pin harness. That is an option that you can purchase - a 5-pin side mirror. They are not providing any harness with this so it’s meant to be a replacement (like-for-like) of your existing not an upgrade unless the OP has populated wires on the door side of his mirror-to-door connector.

Here are some photos of the door side of the door to mirror connector showing the minimal pins wired in on my 21 XSE, and the side mirror side of the door to mirror connector showing almost all pins as I have installed power folding OEM units from a higher trim (power folding, turn indicators, BSM, heated, welcome light, etc.).

So on my 21 XSE, custom wiring is required to accomplish any feature not available on the stock side mirrors.

I am curious if your 2024 XSE is any different. if not, you would have to figure out and wire in the power folding (likely via a harness from one of the aliexpress power folding mirror units), turn indicator functionality (there's a great DIY on here already), and anything else that is not stock on your vehicle.

Ok, so exactly the same - your 2024 and my 2021 XSE. Good to know. So anyone looking to add power folding, welcome/puddle lights, turn signal indicators etc will need to populate and wire accordingly with either OEM higher trim side mirrors or china retrofits

You can use the same terminals for power and signal wire. Ground I would recommend using the door so you don’t have to worry about bringing through grommet into cabin.
