My sienna SE that we just got, needs new tires.

Im not finding a lot of options...i really prefer michelins but dont like the Primacy MXV4 (wear life SUCKS...)

What do ya'll put on your SE's? Im in CA, im looking for wear life/wet traction most.

Toyota didnt change them before selling to me like i believe they should have since it was a certified used (they are the original dunlops that came on the vehicle new in 2015....van has 44K on it, i bought it with 40K a few months ago...had that confirmed by my tire shop)

Yes there are 5 Michelin options on tirerack.com in the correct size 235/50R19. I was looking because I just got a 2018 SE with the OEM Dunlop tires and I haven't been a fan of them since my 2010 Infiniti G37xS had them. Out of 5 you can eliminate 3 of them, the OEM Primacy MXV4 which you don't like, the similar Primacy MXM4 which appears to be an oem Mercedes tire and has the same treadwear rating as the Primacy MXV4 and the Pilot Alpin 5 which is a performance winter/snow tire. The remaining 2 options are the Primacy Tour A/S which has a slightly higher treadwear rating of 540 over the Primacy MXV4 rating of 500 and the one I'd probably get which is the Premier LTX which is Consumer Reports top rated tire in our tire size. It also has a treadwear rating of 620.

Here'a link to the Premier LTX.

Here's a link to the Primacy Tour A/S.

If you're a Costco member you might save some money buying from them because ever so often they have a Michelin tire promotion where you get $70 off a set of tires and 1 cent installation like this one that just ended on May 3rd.

https://www.hustlermoneyblog.com/costco-discount-tires-promotion/

Costco has the $70 off a set of Michelin promotion right now but I don't know if the current promotion includes the 1 cent installation.

Costco tire installation "includes Lifetime Maintenance Services that extend throughout the life of the tires you purchase. (some limits may apply). These Lifetime services include inflation pressure checks, tire balancing, tire rotations, as well as flat repairs." Here's a link.

The online tire stores might have cheap tire prices but you have to pay for a local installer to put them on and I'm sure you don't get the additional benefits like Costco.

My 2013 XLE came with P235/60/R17 tires.
When they wore out, I went with Michelin M/S LTX Defender one size larger 235/65/R17.
The increase in size looks and rides better in my opinion and it has made the speedometer more accurate.
It's almost as if Toyota designed the car for the larger size and then said let's save a few bucks and go with one size smaller.
