I am planning to replace the front passenger seat in a 2015 Sienna with a swivel seat from a 1995 Previa as part of a camper conversion. There is no air bag sensor in the swivel seat so I need to find a way to keep the passenger air bag system on permanently. I am looking for info specific to the Sienna and what is involved in doing this job correctly. Thanks. (Second and 3rd row seats and carriages have been removed).

So GTRV used to some how do a Sienna seat swivel. I don't know if this required disconnecting the airbag. Seems like it should be possible to do a swivel with the wire in place if the seat only went 180 degrees but I've never looked into it seriously. I have no idea if GTRV would consider doing a swivel as a one off but if I was in Nor Cali I sure would be curious to take a peek if they were doing a Sienna (which I think they have moved away from since starting to do Metris conversions).
