@ems657 Please edit your profile to add your vehicle information either beneath your name or at the bottom of your entry as @Azul has done above. Toyota had changed sensor part numbers and suppliers over the years, so we really need to know your year in order to help you.

If you have a Gen-4 van and are still under the 3/36 or an Extended Warranty, you are covered for a TPMS failure if it died of 'natural causes'. Go see your Toyota dealer.

I can't help but be a bit suspicious when I hear of 'TPMS failure immediately after mounting new tires'. Too often it's a case of the sensor being struck and broken by the tire bead mounting arm on the tire changer. The procedure calls for positioning the tire to avoid full swing from hitting the sensor, but, well, shop kids aren't always all that skilled in listening to their elders and following procedures. Did your DT dealer actually dismount the tire and inspect the sensor, or did they just ping it with a TPMS tool and get no response? I hear that DT is pretty responsive to customer issues, so you might want to talk to the local manager and see if he'll investigate.

As far as replacements.... 42607-0E030 OE parts are made by BCS (the rebranded TRW). The very latest Sienna parts are made by Pacific. So we need to know what vehicle you have. Assuming the part number you gave was right (2021-2023 for sure, 2024/2025 maybe), there are cheaper aftermarket alternatives. Real ones will cost you around $65+ each.

This store comes up often as a source: Toyota Sienna Upro TPMS Sensor 42607-0E030 315MHz

Huf, TSS1 and Hamaton are all well known programmable blank sensors that TPMS.com has programmed to match the protocol of the BCS. At $20-25 they are inexpensive alternatives.

A shop of reasonable size often has a dozen kids. One of them gets sloppy and likely doesn't even know he broke something if it was on the remount of the new tire. That doesn't (or shouldn't) indict the entire shop.

If I were to walk away from every shop (small or dealership) that did me wrong at some point, at my age I would have basically eliminated every business in a 50 mile radius! It seems I'll always cleaning up somebody's mistake.
