I bought spray paint + clearcoat from Exact Match Car Paint Made Easy | AutomotiveTouchup to paint some non oem parts for my van. Color match (ruby flare pearl) looks pretty close from my observation. I am waiting for my touchup paints for Wind Chill Pearl in the mail. it takes almost forever.

I've used automotive touchup before. I'll use them again. Get 2k clear and you're golden.

Did you ever have bad experience with their clear coat? I painted two mirror caps with primer>basecoat>clearcoat. Somehow the painted surface felt "sticky" after sitting in the hot summer sun.

The painted clear coat was 1500 grid sanded then their rubbing compound was used to resurfaced till shine again. It looked awesome afterwards, but became sticky after sitting in the sun. Could it be the wax that's melting?

Any thoughts on this phenomenon?

I never used the clear coat. I used another but make sure it's glamour.

I've only used their base color.

This is a good 2k clear brand from my experience.

I ordered these from them as well but they were 1k type. Wonder if it's any good. Haven't used it yet.
