I spent a good bit of time reading the various postings. Here is my summary of what I think seems like possibly some consensus on transmission temperature range with everything in Fahrenheit:
150-175 noted by people for just the van with regular driving.
200 on flat roads with a trailer
220 more likely in pulling hills, etc.
240 pull over and let it cool
260 is getting too high for the transmission.. danger danger Will Robinson

Obviously, I realize we can quickly get into opinion territory. I am not looking for 100% agreement as much as what might get 80% agreement of a fair estimate of ranges.

Also, I know variables like outside temperature will be a factor here as well in impacting how hot the transmission is getting.
