VVT SOLENOID

I've a 2008 Toyota sienna and I'm trying to see if I can start address my engine rattling noise, which I've learnt is coming from vvt issues. On Learning that a part of the problem might be a vvt solenoid, I went ahead and bought two from Rock auto, Beck/arnley brand to be exact. My issue is that I've been looking online since two days ago and can't seem to find information as to the location. I've owned it for just over two years and seven months, she runs great with the exception of the rattling on start ups and has 98241mls. I'm seeking advice as to whether I should just leave these solenoids alone or go ahead and change them and most importantly I asking for you all help in locating these solenoids. Thanks in advance for any help out there.
Kind regards
Xav.

Two on the front bank and two on the back is my understanding.
To the right of the oil fill is one, below and a bit to the right is another. The back ones are a beech to get to.

So, has it thrown a code for anything to do with these ?
As much as I am not a big fan of the snake oil fixes out there I do think
Sea foam is some decent stuff. You could consider running the recommended amount for 100 miles before the next scheduled oil change and let it free up possable sticky solenoids.

I got a code or 2 for this a year or so ago and did the sea foam.
I never had any rattling though. The code has not returned either.
I found out later this is a fairly common problem from the 2008, 2009 time frame.
And there is also situations where a code was thrown but nothing was actually wrong with it.

Thanks much for your response Ericreyn.
I appreciate you finding the time to assist me.
To answer your question if a code was generated by the computer, the answer is no, but I do hear that loose bearing like noise on start ups. I'm also glad that you bought up the diagnostic code topic because I might have gone ahead changing those sensors without the appearance of a code, so again I greatly appreciate it. If the rear ones are difficult, I will seek professional help when or if those codes appear, and I'm crossing my fingers that it never does. In the meanwhile I'll be monitoring that noise and making up my mind if to prematurely address this before it gets any worse, knowing that it will be a big expense any which way I look at it.
Kind regards.
If you do decide to do the backs, might as well change out the spark plugs and maybe the coils as well .
All of same stuff has to come off to get to these also.
There are others that have had this issue here is some reading.
A search will dig up more i am sure.

Your 2GR-FE engine is famous for piston slap when cold. It's an annoying but harmless condition from what I've read. Many posts about it on this forum.
