Same here in BC, I placed an order for a blueprint XSE AWD plus Tech back in August, and I am still waiting for the news from the dealership. I highly doubt I will receive the car this year.

Are you in the lower Mainland? Blue was the colour I was most wanting but every dealer I talked with highly discouraged it and it would be a long wait and I am on a time crunch.

Correct. Placed my order at Open Road Toyota. The rep is unable to give me est. wait time, because it's totally up to the production and how Toyota Canada distribute the vehicles to the channels. Fortunately, I don't need the car right away; however, I am slowly getting impatient for the wait of the new car.

Mine is sitting on Annacis Island unable to move. The dealer isn't getting much information from Toyota Canada.

I just got off the phone with my dealer. Next month they have 3 incoming, a couple LEs and a XSE. Nothing with AWD.

At this point, I'm thinking a February delivery time frame is more realistic (XSE AWD tech).

Thanks for sharing this. Not completely surprised with this given Toyota is also impacted by the chip shortage, global supply chain hurdle, and other challenges. Guess I will have to patiently wait for mine (XSE + AWD + Tech) to arrive.

Just followed up with my sales rep this afternoon regarding the status of my order. He told me that AWD isn't included in Dec & Jan. production schedule, so it's going to be a long wait for anyone who ordered AWD model. 😔

Hi, all! For those of you who placed your orders in Vancouver area, especially recently, how much below MSRP are the dealers willing to let Sienna go, please?

Based on what I have heard, I believe MSRP is what the local dealers offer, and I highly doubt any local dealership is willing to offer discount since Sienna is in high demand. On the bright side, our local dealers here in Canada don't do market price adjustment. For the vehicle accessories, you might be able to negotiate and get some discounts. Hope this helps.

The problem in BC is that, if the vehicle price is over $55,000, you have to pay 8% PST, not 7%, and that's an extra $500+! XSE AWD with tech package comes at around $55,500, so would be nice to get it for less than 55K to avoid paying yet more tax.

Absolutely agree with you on this. That's why the sales rep told me that many folks order XSE AWD trim w/o tech package to avoid paying extra tax. I still ordered mine with the tech pkg, because I like those add-ons for the future road trips. Guess I am one of the suckers paying more taxes to build our beautiful British Columbia. 😓

Regency Toyota in Vancouver has a red Sienna Limited AWD in transit - it's on their website under "new in stock". Weird, after reading about 6+ months wait times, here it is. Probably, a cancelled order?

I can see three Sienna in the new inventory section on their website, and I believe they all are already reserved for the customers according to the tag/label after you click those.

Just picked up my XSE Tech AWD from Nanaimo Toyota. Anybody looking for one in the lower mainland should check them out.

Wow. This is the shortest wait time I have heard so far for XSE AWD Tech trim, because most need to wait 6+ months. Congratulations, buddy. This is the best year-end gift!

Vehicle arrived and picked up today! in BC.
Ordered AWD Limited but open to color. We were have two options between Black and Bronze and we choosed the Bronze.

Fortunately my vehicle still have Digital Rearview Mirror. And paid MSRP as it is...

Hi guys, that is what I have found in shitty BC Toyota dealerships especially for OpenRoad and Destination. If you don't have a car to trade in, good luck on waiting for your Sienna ordering. What they are doing is that once you put in your order, they will give the car out to who ever can make a good trade. Putting down on the wait list gives other buyer with trade in of the chance to get their car earlier. I have been waiting for my XSE Tech AWS since early May 2021 and still no words. I checked with them many times and they keep saying Toyota has problem with their production and cannot make the car due to COVID. They openly admit that if you have a car to trade, they will put you to the head of the list.

LOL That explains a lot. Guess I am screwed.

Same here. Ordered a XSE AWD Tech in Metro Vancouver last Aug. No word regarding ETA. What I am frustrated the most is lack of transparency, because I have no idea if it's a fair process or we are simply screwed by unethical/shitty practices. Wish Toyota (Canada) could have done a better job by issuing and managing the 'ticket' number for all customers who placed their orders and, most importantly, being transparent with the order fulfillment info.

OpenRoad Port Moody. Hopefully the delay is really driven by the allocation issue from Toyota Canada not something else. To be honest, I have no idea at all. 🤷‍♂️

Toyota just notified dealers that they will be cutting their remaining 2022 inventory by quite a bit. This is especially bad as inventory is already tight.

Majority of the cut inventory are hybrids. Highlander, sienna, Tundra.

Dealer told me to change to a fwd, otherwise 2023 for the xse awd

I placed an order Sept 2021 for a Sienna Limited. Still no word. I heard 2023 model will have a big price increase

Is anyone else taking delivery of 2022 in the coming weeks, or has an allocation for one? If so, when did you order and what trim level?

Placed an order for a (blueprint) XSE AWD + Tech pkg in early August 2021 (so it's going to be 1-yr anniversary fairly soon). No word from my dealership (Metro Vancouver area). Still keep my hope high to receive the vehicle by end of the year, but my hope is diminishing.

XSE in February. I would be a good boy, sit and wait, but I was told that I just barely made the cut to miss 2022 and should be among the first 2023’s they get. Now I know I t’s clearly not the case.

Ordered mine (XSE AWD + Tech package) back in Aug, 2021. Still waiting and no update from the dealership.

I dropped by the dealership this afternoon. My sales rep (who I believe he has been honest) told me that their dealership only got three Sienna allocation (1 LE & 2 XSE) last month. Unfortunately, the situation is out of their control, and they are frustrated by this as well.

I have you all beat. June 2021 for XSE tech AWD. lol. probably won't even keep it IF it arrives. I like having no car payment, especially with interest rates the way they are.

Not far from your order. Ordered a XSE AWD Tech back in Aug 2021. No update, and it's highly likely it won't arrive this year. Apparently, the dealership has outstanding 400 Sienna orders, and they only received 40 units last year. LOL

I blame Toyota Canada for failing to establish a centralized order tracking system to provide public a fair & transparent process.
