Hi I am also with Heffner :D..... we ordered XSE tech package in Pre-Dawn Grey on March 4; no updates until this morning, our sales guy sent an email saying he has been informed that Toyota is no longer making the Pre-Dawn Grey. anyone has a sense if this is accurate? the only think i can think about is they are trying to sell us the 2023 anniversary Edition ? :D:unsure:which only comes in Celestial Silver and Wind chill Pearl??? anyone has any insights? thanks
Ha I am with heffner too.
As soon as Toyota announced the anniversary edition I called them up to add me on the list. Appearently they didnt even hear of it at that time. They said I am the first on the list for the entire dealership.. Guess we will see what the cost will be...

So I just emailed my contact at Heffner Toyota in kitchener. Was just kinda asking a general question of where I am in queue and how many siennas they received of the XSE in say the past 6 months.

They said they aren't allowed to tell me specificially where I am in line or how many are on the list, but it is a lot on the list. And in the past 6 months they have received zero siennas.. like in general, not just the xse...

I was told initially approx 6-9 month wait.. which I knew okay probably closer to the year mark.. which was not ideal, but was fine fine... but now with this info... idk what to do. I am apparently #1 on the list for next model year anniversary edition so they said I will have better chance at getting that... but without knowing pricing not sure if that is the option I want to do.

man, I decided to try a test drive of a 2018 pacifica hyrbid just for something to do cause this wait is stressing me out. The tech in a 4 year old pacifica makes the sienna feel a decade out of date, and even better tech in the new ones. Only tech the XSE with tech package has better is the digital rear view mirror.. which of course has been cut from 2022 models until further notice.

So pros on the Toyota Sienna is
Reliability (obviously this is a huge one...)
gas mileage if the Pacifica is out of charge,
maybe a bit on the exteriour looks (whatever dont carE)
sliding middle seats (however pacifica has removable middle seats)

So now I am thinking of also putting my name on the waiting list for the Pacifica (was told 9-12 months... but i kinda take that with a grain of salt)
They arent taking orders for 2022 anymore, but they are for 2023. Only problem is, once 2023 is available for order, I cannot cancel the order....

I didn't realize the Pacifica also had such a long wait time. Stellantis inventory situation is supposed to be much better than Toyota, but maybe not on this particular model.
We were also tempted to consider the Pacifica plug-in, but the questionable reliability and lack of towing capacity took it out of contention.
It's specifically the Hybrid. Non hybrids are much faster to get. But yeah its the reliability they is giving me pause. Dont want to pay all this money just to have to keep pumping more into it. I mean I go the the pacifica forums and there is a fair bit of people with issues, and then comparing that to this siennachat forum, and there seems to be way less issues with the sienna.

yeah really dealerships should just be upfront. we have x amount of people on the waiting list, you would be #y and we get z siennas approx per quarter... so yeah. production will hopefully increase soon, but at this time that is the facts

Dealership said my anniversary edition will be here in November. Dealership said they only allocated one. They don't know pricing yet.

They said if I wanted the xse it would be 2024 or 25 model year

That's good news right? If the document posted of US pricing is accurate, expect the pricing to be between XSE Tech and Limited.

They said that the anniversary doesn't have the tv nor digital rear view mirror, but still has power inverter. Not sure if that is in the states or not. Hopefully will have pricing soon

do you have any idea of the price? I assume it’s lower than limited but above XSE tech. I would assume its around 57k cad

btw, how many were allotted for Canada? 25? Lol, I know its 2525 for the USA
They aren't sure on price. They said they think close to the awd xse with tech package maybe a bit more but less then limited.
They said they should be getting pricing detail sometime in October.

No clue how many are allocated to Canada

Toyota.ca now updated with 2023 Sienna.
Looks like a modest in increase if about 100-600 depending on the model

Glad to see anniversary edition in Canada is getting the 1500 watt inverter which is great

Bad news is 80 basis points increase on financing

Finally! So it looks like a $600 increase for the XSE AWD model I ordered. Interestingly, the 25th Edition is listed as a Package upgrade on the XSE, and it's less expensive than the Tech Package. For the upgrades, it makes the Tech Package pricing look like complete nonsense.

Whoever manages to snag a 25th Edition is getting one heck of a deal. Congrats to whoever the winners may be.
Yeah I mean the main thing out of the tech package it is missing is the entertainment system. but whatever, with no digital rear view mirror it wouldnt be great anyways,
Im still hoping I am on track for getting my 25th edition next month..

I asked my sales Rep at Hefner Toyota on May 21st to order me the anniversary edition and was told they couldn't so this is a little annoying to hear. Glad you are able to get it though. In the end I already have a ride so not a big deal for me.
That's actually where I got it from. I was first in line. Maybe I beat you by a day.
