So the sales team at Erin Park has decided to ghost me at this point. My sales person has been promoted to finance manager and has stopped replying to my texts and calls. I've tried to reach the sales manager by phone, was told I'd get a call back and they never did. What upset me the most is that the sales receptionist basically tried to brush me off entirely. As soon as I told her I ordered a Sienna in February, she said that I need to wait 2 years so I have a long way to go and wanted to just leave it at that. Well, that certainly wasn't what I was told just a few weeks ago. Not happy... Oh side note, I just placed an order for a VW ID4 for my wife. The sales manager was all responsive and nice up to the point where I put down my deposit, and then he passed me off to some sales who was supposed to finish up the paperwork, but decided to just not do anything or reply to my messages. Being a customer in this car market really sucks. I can't wait until the tables are turned.

I actually visited the sales office and the sales person was kind enough to show me where I stood in terms of ordering (overall 5th for my trim). Presumably the 2023 orders are supposed to be filled starting November. Fingers crossed.

I hear you. I see a ton of Siennas near Oakville/Misssauga area, funny enough some even from Erin Park dealership. Lucky bastards. My rep told me November they will know a bit more on allocation and that deliveries for 2023 will occur sometime in December. At this point, I've mentioned I will accept any trim/colour and consider trade in too.

Can you confirm where you're dealer is located? My dealer at Erin Park hinted the same thing.

Similarly, I was informed I was 5th on the list for my trim (XLE) but +50 overall on a Sienna order, even though I ordered Dec 2021 😞 . Not sure how realistic it would be to get my car this year.

its almost a yr now. Ordered mine Dec 26,2021 and got it Aug 31,2022

I'm going to wait a few more months, if no movement, likely move towards the Honda Minivan.

I think I'm at 19 months of waiting now. I ordered a XSE AWD April 2021. The dealer told me in August that I likely will not receive one in 2022. I've been trying to reach out to them for about 2 months, but they're now ghosting me.

Which dealer and trim did you order? 19 months is insane.

I suppose is anyone getting any updates on where their 2023 model production (those that have previously ordered a 2021/2022 model that's been now reassigned as a 2023 model due to delays) - I was told December we would hear about deliveries. I'm still waiting since Dec 2021 - I only opted for the XLE trim (nothing fancy) - FWD. Looking to switching to another vehicle, if nothing meaningful develops in the next few months.

Well, we've decided to basically throw in the towel and ordered another vehicle. Went for an Outlander PHEV. Sacrificing a lot of space and convenience of the sliding doors, but with the top GT trim less than $3000 more than the Sienna XSE (AWD non-tech), we're getting the benefits of PHEV and all the gadgets that are comparable or superior to the Limited. Estimated arrival is March 2023, so we'll see what arrives first, but it's looking likely the Sienna is going to lose this race.

Are you getting your deposit back from Toyota?

I got an update from my dealership, it seems 2023 deliveries were made this month, most however were LE and very few XLE trim. XSE and higher trims with technology packages will be long wait going into 2023. Good luck all.

I spoke to my dealer last Friday - they received 2023 allocations (5 in total) this month. I did get bumped up by 1 spot, he estimates at the current allocation rate, I should hopefully see something 3-4 months from now, if not, I'm getting a Honda Minivan.

No, the 5 was specific to the month of December. They expect it to pick up more in February.

FYI, in my case, delivery date was roughly 3 months after allocation confirm.

When was your allocation confirmed - how long did you wait and do you mind sharing the dealership (if in Ontario).
