I put my deposit down over the phone mid July 2021 and got my xse awd tech in Oct 2021 in the GTA. Didn't even sign paperwork until I went to pick the van up. Not sure why Bluetrolls order is taking so long.
Congrats! enjoy.....GTA dealership?Picked up my black XSE AWD w/ Tech yesterday. It was a LONG day, and I only got a couple of pics, which aren't worthy of posting here. I know it's early but... I'm FLOORED by this thing. I'm coming from a 2013 Civic, base model... What a monumental leap forward technology wise. I guess I was a bit naive but even with all the reviews and knowing there was a decade worth of new tech inside (and also a much higher trim level) I didn't realize how big of a leap it would be. I waited five months, and so far it was well worth it. Easy for me to say, I know, but I think anyone who sticks it out will be very happy they did. I'll write a full review and take some pics sometime this weekend.
North Bay Toyota. My second vehicle purchase from there. I recommend working with Brent, who I bought from in the past as well.Congrats! enjoy.....GTA dealership?
A bit far for us but great that have some Toyota dealerships thinking of future business.North Bay Toyota. My second vehicle purchase from there. I recommend working with Brent, who I bought from in the past as well.
Yes, I have to give credit where credit is due. I checked in with Brent every couple weeks and had some oddball requests based on stuff I was reading here (DRM fiasco etc). He was always responsive and honest. Sometimes he didn't have answers, but I think all sales people are facing that at the moment. BTW, I did not have a trade in; my 2013 Civic will be sold privately. I know people have been suggesting that only those with nice trades are getting Sienna's, but that wasn't the case for me.A bit far for us but great that have some Toyota dealerships thinking of future business.
Congrats on getting your van! I look forward to experiencing that monumental leap myself coming from a base model 2012 Mazda5 with manual transmission. I recently rented a Corolla, purposely requested a Toyota so I can get a taste of the infotainment system and TSS 2.0. It's astounding what you get now even in a lowly Corolla, so I'm sure it can only be so much better in the Sienna!I'm coming from a 2013 Civic, base model... Fall 2022 would fall within the 9-12 months that most dealerships are quoting now. I don't think you'll get one any faster by going to another dealership at this point, but you could try your luck putting a refundable deposit in at one of the high volume GTA dealers to hedge your bets.Placed order last December 2021(Whitby toyota), Sienna XSE AWD. Initially told 4-6 months waiting time. Now they saying it might be on Fall 2022. Due to that, I inquire to different dealer (Pickering toyota) and they said that they might not have any Sienna's for the rest of the year since Sienna is already out of stock and they no longer taking sienna orders.![]()
Hoping this would only mean anyone who hasn’t ordered and not those who have ordered and paid a deposit…. Anyone on here have the inside scoop??View attachment 55312
Is sienna not available for ordering??
Looks like they're limiting fleet sales, not surprising when there's no inventory available. They'll keep building as many as they can, so it's safe to assume everyone who ordered will eventually get one. The only reason some dealerships stop taking orders is their wait list is too long compared to the allocations they've been getting.Hoping this would only mean anyone who hasn’t ordered and not those who have ordered and paid a deposit…. Basically, I guess is Toyota did not accept the order sent by the dealer. Which is the same case as mine. I ordered in Sep 2021 but till today it is yet not been accepted by Toyota. I read a lot of people saying nowadays Toyota only does allocations but my salesman says they are still doing the old-fashion way that sending orders to Toyota so I don't know if they are the only dealer in Canada left behind.I put a deposit down in early October at Woodbridge. I am told that my order status is unfulfilled. What does the status mean? Thanks.
Usually means they either have a huge lineup of customer orders and yours isn't even close to the top. Or they are a smaller volume dealer and don't get as much inventory as other dealers. Still confused with how Toyota allocation system works. I got my Sienna in great time, yet there are members here that ordered 6 months before I did and are still waiting.I put a deposit down in early October at Woodbridge. This is the best explanation I saw about their allocation system. Keep in mind they can still play tricks at the local dealer level, so 'undesirable customers' might get the shaft and we would be none the wiser.Still confused with how Toyota allocation system works.
