I've tried to reach the sales manager by phone, was told I'd get a call back and they never did. What upset me the most is that the sales receptionist basically tried to brush me off entirely. As soon as I told her I ordered a Sienna in February, she said that I need to wait 2 years so I have a long way to go and wanted to just leave it at that. Well, that certainly wasn't what I was told just a few weeks ago. Not happy... Oh side note, I just placed an order for a VW ID4 for my wife. The sales manager was all responsive and nice up to the point where I put down my deposit, and then he passed me off to some sales who was supposed to finish up the paperwork, but decided to just not do anything or reply to my messages. Being a customer in this car market really sucks. I can't wait until the tables are turned.

I was just at a GTA dealership today with my in-laws who are ordering a Corolla Cross. The sales showed me an internal memo with a list of all the expected wait times. I flipped to see the Sienna which is listed at 24 months for FWD, 36 months AWD . Oh, also 25th anniversary "sold out", but that's kind of needless to say.

I asked my sales Rep at Hefner Toyota on May 21st to order me the anniversary edition and was told they couldn't so this is a little annoying to hear. Glad you are able to get it though. In the end I already have a ride so not a big deal for me.

I dropped by the dealership this afternoon. My sales rep (who I believe he has been honest) told me that their dealership only got three Sienna allocation (1 LE & 2 XSE) last month. Unfortunately, the situation is out of their control, and they are frustrated by this as well.

That’s crazy that you still haven’t gotten you car even after a year. I ordered a ‘22 XSE AWD + Tech package in black, back in February of this year. My dealership told me it was going to be a 4-6 month wait but I honestly didn’t believe them. It’s now the middle of October and still no update from the dealership which based off all these comments seems to be the norm. I’m pretty disappointed in the way Toyota Canada is handling this whole situation.
