waiting time in Canada (please share)

Hello,

I placed an order for 2021 AWD Limited in early July in BC and I am still waiting for the call from the dealer.

Could you please share the waiting time in Canada?

Thanks in advance!

Would 'Sale' be considered vehicle delivery? That would be a good sign. If 'sale' just means submitting an order, then it's irrelevant to supply.
Sales in these reports are deliveries. Well normally it’s not that simple, but given every car delivered to dealerships are presold, it’s pretty much the same.
So things may be starting to turn around in terms of supply. October 2022 Toyota Canada sales are up 9.6% from October 2021. I think this may be the first month in 2022 that did better than 2021. Unfortunately they don't break out by model, but this is consistent with the overall ramp up in Toyota production numbers.
It's probably all Toyota Tundras.

i used to believe the number of siennas being exported should drop after chinese version being manufactured locally.

so sad...

can someone able to identify/spy which dealer doing the job?

I guess now we know why Limited models are almost impossible to get. So at least we can keep our low end models not worthy of export? Certainly my XSE is not of interest to those in the money in China, right?
So I got an update from my dealer, and finally managed to get my position in the queue. I’m number 38… for just the XSE AWD trim… I can’t imagine them getting more than a few a month of that particular trim, so yeah, that whole I’m in the first batch of 2023’s thing I was previously told was nonsense. Totally losing hope here. Going to look into getting some stuff fixed on my current car cause I think I’ll be driving it for a while.

Why not be open to other trims or put refundable deposit at another dealership? What trim is being received most at your dealership, if they'll tell you.

Or perhaps a vacation and purchase trip to Mexico? Although not sure if they sell to non residents/citizens.

Lol. That's basically 2024 at the rate each dealer receives inventory.
I've given up. You can't buy a unicorn

We took ownership of the 2023 anniversary edition today. Wow what a huge upgrade from our Mazda 3.

Loving every aspect of it although find the kick side doors a little finicky and can't often get it working.

Tried the cooling seats, going to be amazing for the summer.

Have some winter tires on order to install next week.

We feel so lucky to be able to get this, as my wife is due with our second kid any day now

Show us some pics. I am interested in the features of the 25th anniversary edition.
Depending on trade-in value of my 2022, I might end up trading in for one if another dealership I put a deposit at calls me.
All Canadian Siennas get summer carpet mats and winter rubber mats. Ours came with rubber mats installed [metal buttons and spacers] and just been too lazy to change to summer AND now winter near :)

No trunk liners; have to buy separately and I believe the Toyota one is pretty good.
I got the oem trunk tray from eBay (US dealer store) it’s perfect fit and doesn’t need to be removed when seat is stowed. Also got the oem integrated dash cam (US only) works great.

You live like 10 houses from me! Hilarious.
That's wild. I can't believe the number of people I run into who lived on this street at one point. I must be up to at least a dozen people.

Are you the one that owns the dark gray one? That's the only they Sienna I've seen on this street. Or you in the market of getting one?
I was curious so i asked my dealer here in ottawa and the manager told me i was 40 out of 102 on the list. I ordered my van about 11 months ago now. lets hope they make some red limited trims so i can get my van quicker. Anyone else have any experiences with Ottawa area dealerships?
I ordered Silver AWD LE November 15, 2021 at Barrhaven Toyota, still no news on when I might be getting one.
Any updates on 2023 delivery dates?
According to my dealer, they're still getting 2022's in November and expect their first delivery of 2023's in December.
Can you confirm where you're dealer is located? My dealer at Erin Park hinted the same thing.

Similarly, I was informed I was 5th on the list for my trim (XLE) but +50 overall on a Sienna order, even though I ordered Dec 2021 😞 . Not sure how realistic it would be to get my car this year.

Same dealership. Looks like a boatload of people ordered between the time you did and my order in February 2022.
