Hey There - we recently bought a 2012 Limited AWD Sienna. When it was raining the other day we noticed a wet spot on the ceiling near where the front passenger window and the windshield meet at the ceiling. Check out the picture for the exact location.
At first I thought it was a clogged sunroof drain, but when I tested it water was cleared quickly from the tray and came out near the front wheel. Since it wasn't clogged I thought the drain hose could have come loose. I pried back the ceiling and the hose didn't appear to be loose, but I put a zip-tie on it anyway just to be sure. I thought I had fixed it!
But the next day the car was wetter than ever! (see the attached picture)
I'm wondering if there's something else I'm not thinking of. Since it showed up toward the front of the car initially I'm thinking it has something to do with the front sunroof and not the back one. I also wonder if it could have something to do with the roof rack appearing to have some play in it.
Have any of you see symptoms like this before?
Any tips are appreciated!!
