0W30,,, will my engine blow up!??

Just kidding about the blow-up part. Lol…

I have faithfully used 0W20 for the last 104k miles. This oil change thought I’d try 0W30 out of curiosity and to see if it changes the sound of my 2grfe. Will be going for a 5k mile trip this Fall and thought I’d make the change before I left. Probably will go with Mobil 1 since that is the brand I have been using for practically forever. I expect a lot of you guys have been using 0W30 anyway….

Have already changed out the coolant, ATF, front/rear differentials. Haven't done the brake fluid though since 65k miles...

Lotus 2gr-fe specification is for 0W40.
