2012 Limited questions/problems

I just got a Limited on Monday. As of today we have had two problems arise. We aren't able to head to a shop for a few days so I wondering if anyone has experience with these issues.

First, I just tried to open one of the sliders but it won't work using the power feature. Pushing the buttons doesn't help nor does pulling the door manually. It doesn't like me trying to move it manually. Is there a way to reset the door or a way to do it easily manually so the door isn't fighting me?

Also, we have been streaming use music from my iPhone 4s. Sometimes the music sounds like it is playing on a tape player with dying batteries. Sometimes it slows completely to less than half the speed. I don't think it is my phone as I have streamed music from my phone to at least 5 other cars in the past month. Rebooting my phone didn't help but restarting the car did.

Anyone have any experience with these problems?

For your first question, have you by any chance accidently turned off the power function? there is a master control for all power doors on the left bottom side of your steering colume. it says " pwr dr" or something alike...can't remember unless I go and check... if it is depressed, then it is turned off, if it is poped out, then you should be able to use ur power door, and if you still can't then you need someone with more knowledge on toyota electric to give advice.

As for the music, I have not streamed at all so I can't say for sure, but I do find the volume of the premium jbl speaker kind of low...in the front anyway....I have to tune up to about vol_20 to be able to hear clearly. anything below 15 can be covered by the traffic noise....on other cars that I owned, i could go for 5 or 10 even...but different specs so different effect .... off topic but if you are using blue tooth connection to stream....I find it always a fail for me, often times it will get cut off hear and there for me with bluetooth, try connecting thru usb if you havent.
