Have the tires installed on the Fast FC04 20" rims and weight it against the OEM 18" with tires for the XSE AWD. Save 2lb vs the OEM. It's 7.8lb lighter compare to the OEM 20". Going to install on the van soon.

Which tires did you wrap your fc04s in?

I picked up some Conti dws06 plus in 255/45/20. I went with the same size tire you got.

Put Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 255/45/20. Costco has a rebate of $150 for all Michelin. A bit heavier than the Conti DWS06 but less expensive with similar rating. Wanted to get the Pirelli Scorpion All season which is a bit lighter weight also with the rebate but they don't have any and the other tire shop is more expensive and less rebate. Will see how it perform.

Hi. I’m trying to learn here. Will using a lighter weight wheel diminish any impact on MPGs if I changed to a larger wheel/ tire? I thought the hits to MPGs was because larger wheels impacting proper gear ratios. I am getting the XLE w 17” rims, I think. I would like to lift the van and change them out for 20” rims. Since I’m getting the mica gray I’d like to get black rims. Any recommendations on rims for riding on crappy forest service roads (no off road use). Recommendations on tires?

Falken Wildpeaks get good reviews.

Check into General and Cooper as well.
