I just asked for a quote for 60K service on our 2018 and they told me abt $1000. Anyone know why? several hours to change rear plugs, maybe? The main schedule is nothing crazy listed.

The thing is, Toyota has their REQUIRED maintenance schedule, and the dealership has their RECOMMENDED maintenance schedule. Guess which one has a lot of unnecessary and expensive stuff on it?
Best to ask the dealership to provide a quote/estimate that lists all the services they include. Different dealerships may include different services. It will usually also provide details of the parts and labor hours. Having the details will help if you get a few estimates.
I just talked to them. The quote they gave her includes a valve adjustment which is $540. Thats not happening since the maintenance sched doesn't require it.
I know the Ody requires it but never heard of the Sienna requiring a valve adjustment as part of any maintainence schedule. If this is coming from the dealer then you should look for another dealer even for routine work. Better, find an independent shop
