I bought my 06 XLE used with 65K on the clock 7 years ago. Since then, the rear gate doesn't open so i just turn it off and close by hand; the consul screen is unreadable, I ignore it; both sliding doors won't lock, so we hip-check them; I can't use the internal lights as designed because one of the rear lights won't go out so I turn all those off; both mirrors stopped working and made those whirring noises so I unplugged them; I never listen to the radio so I'm not sure if it works. I wouldn't have opted for all these electronics but they came with the car. The engine works fine with 120K on it now but I replaced the timing gear and water pump at 100K just to be safe. I love the room in the van and took out one rear seat to make room for our bikes. Unfortunately, electronics like these are going to go and get very costly to repair. My daily driver is a 1987 Volvo 740 station with who knows how many miles on it. I dread the thought of replacing the van and only hope it holds out for about 8 more years when I'll be 90 and shouldn't be driving any way. Just my two cents and probably worth less than that.
