Has anybody had any issues or thoughts on the 4-cylinder hybrid being underpowered?
Lying is intentional. Mistakes are non-intentional. I did neither.Again why lie?
Again from the C&D long term test of the 2021:link to 2021 sienna 40k long term
0-60 is whopping 9 seconds flat
again- why BSLying is intentional. Mistakes are non-intentional. I did neither.
Again from the C&D long term test of the 2021:
"When new, the Sienna hit 60 mph in 7.6 seconds and slinked through a quarter-mile in 15.7 seconds at 89 mph. These aren't numbers that stir one's loins, but that is just as quick as a previous-generation 2015 Honda Odyssey, so if you're so evolved that you go from van to van, with or without the need to chauffeur dependents, it'll feel normal."
and:
"After 40,000 miles, the Sienna lost a bit of the pep in its step, posting a 7.7-second 60-mph time, but that's still quicker than minivans were 15 years ago. And no van from then could average 29 mpg over 40,000 miles. Our long-term 2018 Honda Odyssey returned 23 mpg. The Sienna betters that by 25 percent. That fuel economy is incredible"

Our 2021 Toyota Sienna Departs on a High Note
A hybrid Toyota minivan might sound like boredom, but during our 40,000 miles with the Sienna, we fell in love.www.caranddriver.com
Faster and more efficient. FTW
1. Who cares about 0-60? Which part of my post cared about 0-60?Just for funsies, 2010 ford svt raptor did 8.4 seconds in 0-60.
Splitting hairs when comparing new model to new model is cool and all, but for the gen4 to be doing what it does at 30+ mpg’s is still amazing to me (especially with gas prices creeping up again…). Bringing in some context with comparison of an older “performance” truck brings me down to earth with expectations of a people mover lol.
that is correct- because unlike all of you guys. I don’t lie and post wrong information.Inadequate for krispykreme, clearly adequate for most of us i’d say. And i speak as a dude that used to cruise 80ish and have passed semi’s just fine flat towing a 2200lbs drift car up the grapevine.
We are all not kristykreme
now you are twisting again- which part of your original post mentioned 5.4? 6.2 was optionalView attachment 72196
Ah you got me! Youcaught my lie. I was clearly comparing our hybrid minivan to the ford raptor 2010 v8 5.4liter model and clearly lied about comparing it to the 6.2 model.
Oh no, the shame. How much lower can it get since i already drive a minivan
You really need to do a better job of walking back from your comment. If you look above; I only mentioned 2010 ford raptor svt.
And I shared that it got 8.4 0-60 time.
Which the 5.4 model did according to edmunds.
You brought up that i had lied and shared info on the 6.2 model getting a much better 0-60 time.
And oh my god. I lied by sharing the 5.4 svt’s numbers and I should be ashamed for sharing such a lie. Kill me now i guess. Burn me at the stake!
I think we got a chance in Sport mode against the AltimaNot my fault ford sucks lol.
But hey. Our hybrid 4cyl minivan people mover is on par with an older model “performance” truck (mid level 5.4 v8). In fact, our minivans a little bit faster!
But none of this really matters because these are just people movers, if you really want to floor it and beat those pesky altimas from the greenlight, a hybrid minivan is obv not the car for you.
...Last I checked minivan sole purpose is to haul people and weight. ...
