Hello everyone,

I'm looking to replace the set of tires before the winter. I'd like feedback from those whom have any of the below "All Season" tires:

Michelin Defender 2
UTQG: 840 B B
$214

Bridgestone Weatherpeak
UTQG: 700 A A
$213
(Severe Snow Service rated per tirerack)

BFGoodRich Advantage Control
UTQG: 700 B A
$170

In the past I've always used Michelin but the OEM set I like is no longer available. The new Defender 2 is not much better than BFGoodRich but costs a lot more than BFGoodRich. Based on tirerack's reviews, I think the Bridgestone is the best for me (wet & snow). Has anyone used the Bridgestone in wet and snow?

Thanks,
Tommy

Speaking from what I had on my Tundra, not my Sienna, but I had OEM BFG's and didnt like them. They were not very good in rain or snow even when new and didnt last very long.
Put LTX Defenders on as a replacement. Huge difference. No spinning or slipping in rain or snow.
Its not just cost you want to look at but cost per mile.

Even though both have similar mileage ratings Michelins almost always seem to outlast everything else, and perform the same way from the first mile to the last mile you put on them.
If you plan on keeping the van and rolling lots more miles, I personally wouldnt cheap out.
