On a side note, anyone know how long does it take for DMV to send you vanity custom license plate? I also did that 5 months ago and still waiting

A couple of people here have observed that a lot more Plats seem to be hitting the dealer lots recently.

I suppose Toyota wants in on making more money by prioritizing Plats.

Or may be it is just that Plats don't move as quick so they linger on lots longer making it seem like Toyota is making more of them?

It could go either way. Our local what used to be 20K+ Plat markup dealer has now listed about a dozen Plats for about $3k-$6K markup. Check out koonstoyotatysonscorner.com.

Just purchased a used 2022 XLE FWD from a private seller with 11k miles on it for $43k. Floormats and tow hitch are the only options (there was a "lifetime oil change" plan with the Lithia dealer, but I'm skeptical they will allow it to transfer). Was around KBB value, but probably would have been a better deal to buy a new 2023 or 2024 at MSRP if I could have. Seems like many others have been able to do this recently.

Just got a used 2023 Sienna FWD LE in Gray Mica for $35,000.50.

It has 20k miles, and was a rental. Those are the downsides.

I think it’s a good deal though, and I’m hoping to get it over 200k miles. The dealer did offer a lifetime Powertrain warranty, so that eases my worry about the miles a good bit.
