Seat heaters for middle row?

(MODs, if this should be in the Mods and Projects section I'm sorry, just say so and I'll repost there.)

I'm planning to add seat heaters to our 2019 Sienna. I've done the project a couple of times on other cars and my only delay right now is trying to find a kit where I like the style of the switches (ie, as identical to OEM as I can find) and where I like the price. I've settled on the Rostra 250-1870-TOY if I can just find it for a reasonable price.

Once I've done the job for the front seats I'm thinking about doing the same for the middle row, but not sure how to handle the fact that the seats are removable. How does Toyota do this? Or did they not offer heated seats for the middle row until they made the seats non-removable?

Only thing I can think of is using wires with connectors and then needing to be sure to remember to disconnect them whenever I need to remove the seats. I'm not confident I'll remember every time.

Have any of you tackled this before?

2nd row seat heaters weren't offered on the Sienna until the 2021 model year when the 2nd row seats became no longer removeable.

I spent a lot of hours during the winter of 2016 researching seat heaters for the 2nd row ottoman chairs in my 2014 Limited. I backed off the project for several reasons which are documented in the thread I did about it: Second row heated seats

I think there are past threads on adding seat heaters to the front seats but I didn't find any about the 2nd row. There are YouTube videos about installing seat heaters in front seats although I don't remember if any were for the Sienna.

Thanks - that was good reading. I'll need to consider what to do now. I like the idea of the using the trailer connectors.
