If you have the time, you could check literally every link to a retailer that shows up when you search for the part #. Last time I bought this panel, which was a couple of months ago, I must have clicked on a good dozen of links before I bumped into something <$300

Wow. I just checked can't believe it and it's really $1,500 regardless of which dealer. Why ? Just Why ? Is it a very special color ? Is it a genuine leather ?

For future readers, the part number was 64746-08030-C0 and I was able to get one within a week of ordering.

where did you order from? My online orders keep getting cancelled because it’s not in stock.

Nope, near as I can tell the only difference from the other C5 color codes is it has the small cutout for the rear shade...
I've called the dealer a few times and they insist that this is the one for the 2025 Limited with the black interior...

I did this spare tire conversion awhile back on my 2021 Platinum trim (C2 color code). I have the original rear panel WITHOUT the spare tire compartment if anybody wants it. This has the sunshade, does not have rear entertainment.

I'm in Eastern South Dakota. Come pick it up 😁

Just wanted to post it in the spare tire threads so that it can benefit others.

• Toyota Parts is offering a $50 off $250 which ends on 08/29 (Monday)
• Checked all the 5 dealers in town for the price and found one of the dealer is selling the 51900-08051-B2 (Light Gray - No RES - No Shade) for ~$250
• Ended up in ordering the spare wheel carrier assembly for $200 (With tax it came upto $220)
• Hopefully I could find a used spare out of EBay/Facebook for $100-$125 to keep the spare wheel upgrade < $350

I reached out to Toyota to see what was going on with 51900-08071-C5 and a few other of the kits priced 5x the others. The response was that dealers set the prices. I replied that didn't make a ton of sense given they're all the same pretty much and the huge discrepancy on a few of them. There are both 08071 kits priced under $400 and C5 kits priced under $400, just not in that combination.

Any reason that buying the 51900-08051-C5 and just foregoing the unused rear shade wouldn't work?

I don't own a vehicle with shade, so not 100% positive.

But I remember seeing in reditt or youtube that you can get one without shade and leave the shade option if you never use it. I think the most important thing you need to focus on is the interior panel color match (B2 or C5 or whatever).

Thanks! I know I'm the C5 color. Tempted to buy the 51900-08051-C5 (no shade/no entertainment) for more than $1k less than 08071 and see if I can move the shade from the existing panel.

My view of the part diagram is that there is a trim insert on the panel or the shade. A thread somewhere here said the shade is held on to the panel by 3 screws. I ordered the 08051 last night before the sale ended. I'll see how it works out.

I ordered one without the rear shade but with RES to see if i can swap the rear shade from the old panel to the new one? The part i ordered 08061 hope that work
