Hello Everyone, I just purchased a used 2016 Sienna XLE Limited AWD with close to 31K miles on it and went in search of Extended warranty options. Friends of ours have a slightly older Sienna AWD and have had a few issue that made us gun shy about life after the factory warranty. I did not see much talk and activity about good warranty deals recently on Sienna Chat but did look around on other Toyota Chats (Specifically RAV4) and found one of the long time warranty deep discounters, Troy Dietrich, from Toyota of Greenfield in Massachusetts was still offering REALLY good prices for our Siennas. It does make things a lot easier if you live in Northeast US since he is based in MA and Toyota has cracked down on selling warranties across state lines. I am in New York in driving distance. Here is the excellent prices that Troy offered:

Vehicle: 2014 – 2018 Toyota Sienna with less than 36,000 miles.

Toyota Extra Care, Platinum coverage with $0 deductible:

6 yr / 75K - $685.00
6 yr / 100K - $985.00
6 yr / 125K - $1250.00
7 yr / 75K - $780.00
7 yr / 100K - $1140.00
7 yr / 125K - $1375.00
8 yr / 75K - $900.00
8 yr / 100K - $1255.00
8 yr / 125K - $1670.00
9 yr / 100K - $1435.00
9 yr / 125K - $1915.00
10 yr / 100K - $1545.00
10 yr / 125K - $2070.00

I checked with my local Toyota Dealer and they could not touch these prices saying they were below their cost. They said if you really have a quote this low than take it and run...haha.

You can connect with Troy via:
his website here: http://fd-warranty.com/
by email: tdietrich@fd-warranty.com
or phone: (413) 772-0989

I have no affiliation with Troy other than a happy customer. I did ask for his permission to post about my experience here.

Good Luck...

Nate

Got mine from Troy too! 8 yr / 125k miles / $0 deductible. But the price has gone up a bit since I purchased. I think I paid about $200 less. No sales tax, credit card purchase by phone.

I got mine from my local dealer, but I guess the point is to GET IT. I just turned 82,000 miles on my 2013 XLE and was told it needed a rear bank head gasket, to the tune of about $2,500. The service agreement covered 100% of the repair, including a few hard parts that "generally break" when removing the lower cradle to drop the engine down. I have the contract for another 30,000 miles, but hope that I won't need it again.

It is my understanding that these are Troy's normal but excellent prices. I was just a random new customer through Troy's website. The only thing I did say on the form was to the question of how I heard about them was through the RAV4 forums at the time. There was some old references on the Sienna Chat forum but nothing too recent. That was why I wanted to post my new update on our Sienna Chat forum so others could get a great deal too. Good Luck!

We got ours from Doug Bonczek (dougbonczek@gmail.com) at Toyota of Danville, IL in 2012 and back then his rates were the most competitive nationally.
He was writing contracts for vehicles outside Illinois and I believe a complaint was filed by other dealerships who were loosing business and he was shut down. It was good while it lasted and we saved almost $1300. Doug is (or was) a sponsor on this forum.

It doesn't hurt to check with him. I believe he can still write contracts if you are in Illinois and I am sure he will be equally competitive

I got mine from a local dealer. I called around to about 7 dealers. Local and out of state that this site refers to.

One of the locals won because they included pdr, tire, wheel for a very small addition and had already paid out on a nail.

I recommend getting it but shopping around
