My 2011 sienna transmission has 1st,2nd, and third shifting great. When its time to shift to 4,5,6 the engine revs and trans slip. I have codes p0776, p2714,p2808.
I bought and installed a rebuilt valve body with solenoids. But still has the same problem. Would you think a transmission reset would work? I did the disconnect the battery for 24hrs but still have the problem. From a stand still manual shift 4-6 will engage. just at a higher speed 4-6 will not engage.
Any ideas, anyone else have this problem?

I thought I saw a thread on here where someone else had a similar problem and it turned out to be a very corroded connector going into the tranny. I'm guessing if you've done something as extensive as a valve body swap you've unplugged and checked all connections but thought I'd throw it out there.

Makes sense. A thousand thank you's. I Check it this weekend

FYI, you'll need a bi directional tool to reset the transmission; removing power won't accomplish that on your 2011. Toyota Techstream or some 3rd party scanner with enhanced capabilities. Lower end ones generally won't address adaptive transmission data.

Awesome info. I will look for a scanner to buy.
Thank you

Still working on this. Van had codes cleared with a bi-directional scanner, But I the transmission could not be reset because the sticker with the codes are gone.
I will post the fix when it is done

There are times in Jan and Feb where I too wish I were in Hawaii.......

Don't know if you've had it off, but the transmission control module is mounted to the transmission housing. On the 4 cylinder model its on the front side; not familiar with the six. It a multi pin connector, looks somewhat fragile so use some care if/when you pull it to check for moisture/corrosion. I was nervous when reattaching mine.

Good luck.
I have the V-6 and I did remove the control module connector, I was clean.
Thanks again
